Leaky windows

My 1974 Uniflite's both windows are leaking. Both are stainless construction and the frame is in fairly decent shape. However, the laminated windows are not in great shape with salt water in between the laminate and its molding or staining. I would unscrew the entire frame and recaulk around it but the glass is still ugly. I was thinkng about replacing the entire window assemblies with dark tinted polycarbonate. Any suggestions?
