Leaking fiberglass water tank, what kind of epoxy?

Hello everyone!

We have a leaking forward water tank on our Beneteau 423. It's an integrated fiberglass tank, and I've used food grade sillicone, but it doesn't seem to hold when I fill up the tanks, new leaks develop and basically I just have a ton of sillicone on sillicone as a poor patch up job. What's the right way of repairing this?

I'm a bit afraid you have ruined all possibilities of easy fix with the silicone. Sanding the whole tank and vacuum cleaner might clean enough to get some grip but you got to do the whole interior at once with gf fabric and epoxy. Other possibility is to install a flexible tank inside..
