Latex Foam durability

Hi i bough a 4" v-birth mattress from foamorder.com back in 2005. The last couple of years I am noticing that the material is disintegrating. There is a lot of crumbs in my mattress cover and in several places foam seams to be eaten away. It has not even been 10 years and I am wondering if this is normal.

Re: Latex Foam durability

Depends on the initial quality. Some foams will last seemingly forever. Others only a couple of years.

It was probably made from synthetic latex (talalay latex is most popular).
If the quality of the proces was not very high...

Naural latex last for decades, but is way more expensive.
