He Scores!!! I just scored a great deal on the main materials for my boat! A fellow boat builder has given up on his project and is sellin' me his CnC cut kit ($10K US), 20 extra sheets of 1/2" BS1088 Meranti ($1600 US), the SS rudder ($600 US) he had made and the strongback frame ($500)! I haven't picked it up yet (still figuring out the logistics of that) but it'll save me hmmmm? $7500 US over buying it all here! Bonus is I don't have to lay out and cut all the panels! Wohoo! Standby......

Downside is the Admiral won't get her summer vacation again this year! Sorry dear!

Questions & Comments always welcome.
I must have still been in Baja when you first posted this. But I hope you got one of the 2nd-generation drives. The pre-Mk II Infinite Improbability Drive is sooooo hopelessly irreversible.

I'm pretty sure that by the time I get to use it it'll be obsolete so I might replace it with an "Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator".

It looks like we might get to put this panel in the boat sooner than planned. It was just too good a deal to turn down. Plan so far is to drive to Boston to pick it up (360 mi. one way), rent a U-Haul truck and bring it all back in late May or early June. Should be stitching plywood together by August or September. Standby......

Being a sucker for punishment I'm thinking of doing something with the helm engine panel similar to the AC/DC dist panel. My operators manual doesn't include this particular panel for the Yanmar 4JH-TE. Anybody know what this is?
