One thing that I like about the rotating photo images that change regularly at the top of the Home Page Portal is the wide variety ideas that appear. Such one caught my eye from karlg.

Check out his great photos and various ideas that he has implemented on his boat, especially the ones that "claim" unused space to be better utilized to make life better aboard. I'd like to see more.

Could you give more photos/info regarding your companionway hatch? For some time I've wanted to make doors that would at least temporarily replace my angled drop-in companionway board for easier ingress/egress without having to fool around with that damn floating board.
