ISO Beneteau Vinyl Stripe

I am looking for a suppler/source for the vinyl stripe kit and logo set for a Beneteau 423. I contacted Beneteau Parts in South Carolina and they have the deco set for approximately $500USD. I thought that was a bit steep for some deco tape and a few logo stickers. I may have to get the logos from Beneteau but perhaps I can at least save on the tape? Does anyone have any suggestions or know who makes the tape for Beneteau. Thanks.

Seems a good time to disassociate yourself from bandits like that! Why advertise for them?

But if you insist on oing it, I should think that any boat signpainter type place could run off copies of the logos, and could certainly do stripes of any sort.

That's like paying double for a T shirt because it has the manufacturer's logo splashed across the front.

Re: ISO Beneteau Vinyl Stripe

I took a quick look on Beneteau's spare parts site. It's about $530, but that's for everything... the chrome Beneteau logo ($50/set), the "BENETEAU 423" logo ($40/set), the logo inline with the stripe at the bow ($100/set), the "B" on the stern ($90), and the two green stripes (1/4" $100, 7/8" $85), and the silver stripe (1/2" $70).

The stripes are just green and silver vinyl stripe tape. They are commonly available online. The logos could be made by a boat name person of you can find the image online for them to work from.

IMHO boats look better without all the plastic tape and logos.

Re: ISO Beneteau Vinyl Stripe

Personally I wouldn't pay to put advertising on my boat. If they want their manufacturer name back on my boat they can give me the graphics!
In their own best interests if you think about it, benefits them far more than you for people to see their product on the water, they already sold YOU on the boat.
Plenty of options for striping though from diy pinstripe style kits at autoparts stores to custom cut vinyl graphics from a sign shop for something unique.
Easy enough to mask and paint striping, what I did for a waterline and will be doing for a bootstripe this spring.
