I have removed the glass wick ..trying to improve the very low flame from a new Maxi...any ideas guys??

I tried that once, it did not work for me. That wick is necessary to steady the flow of fuel and prevent surges. It is also filters particulates.

We have 2 spare burners that we have never been able to get to work properly (low output).

You said the burner was new, as in brand new ?

I mean no disrespect to thoose who have alements associated with asbestos but lets face it if an attorny could figure out how to make a buck off of a lawsuit againts the sharks for injuring people. The government distruction of all sharks would ensue! Im just saying that if you leave the stuff alone it leaves you alone!

They almost did eliminate sharks from the east coast of Oz. But once protected, they have made a steady comeback. I think about it every time I dive over the side of the yacht for a swim .
