interior teak oil-- still sticky?

We live aboard a '76 Valiant 40 with beautiful teak interior. This week, I cleaned all the interior wood and oiled it with Daly's Seafin Teak Oil. I followed the bottle's directions- wiping it on, letting it sit a few minutes, wiping it down with a clean cloth. The wood I did 2 days ago is still a bit sticky-- is this normal? We are in Alaska, where it never stops raining, but we have been running our diesel heater quite a bit to keep the boat dry.

The wood looks amazing, but it feels sticky when you touch it- thoughts?

Re: interior teak oil-- still sticky?

I used Daly's on my ipe deck at the house. It takes more time for the stickiness to go away, but it gradually does. The heater sounds like a good idea for keeping the relative humidity down which would help with the drying time.
