inspection hatch ideas

I need to cut a inspection hatch in the inner liner of my Morgan's transom. It will be roughly 6x10". My problem is that the liner is not flat but gently curved so I need something that can flex and looks good or at least not bad. This will be infrequently opened so I'm thinking screws and a flexible bead of calk on the overlap. Thoughts anyone?

Re: inspection hatch ideas

Cutout with an oscillating multi-tool. Reuse the cutout piece by adding a flange for attachment.
