Inexpensive Furling System

good day all
after being an advocate for hank on sails for a while im thinking i would like the convenience of a self furling system. does any one know of a good place to purchase one that isnt going to break the bank. as well i would be interested in a used system if anyone knows where i can pick one of these up also. thanks

For a Catalina 27, look at CDI roller furlers. Dependable and (relatively) inexpensive.

My book tells you how to build one for under $200, simple and tough as nails. You can see a lot of them around the BC coast.

I had one of these on a 40' boat and was very happy with it.

I have a Famat. One of the best things I ever bought. But I think the company might not exist anymore.

We have Plastimo here. Great stuff. Inexpensive too. We have an old unit but I looked at the new ones and they seem identical.
