Idylle 15.5 rudder bushings

On my Idylle 15.5 there is an aluminum rudder bushing between the rudder shaft and the fiberglass shaft tube. The bushing turns with the shaft which renders the rubber boot between the shaft tube and the bushing ineffective. Does anyone have any experience with this system? According to Beneteau parts the bushing is made of bronze. Their schematic is difficult to read so I am unsure how it should look. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like your rudder bearing is seized and its now turning the stationary part.
