How to attach things to gel coat?

How can I mount things on gel coat?

My immediate problem is making a hold down for a soap dispenser. The hold down is like a mini clamp. I just need a way to attach it to the gel coat wall of the bathroom. Hopefully I would like to do it in a reversible way without doing permanent damage, like using a screw.

Pictures really help.

My first suggestion is 3M Dual Lock. It's like high strength Velcro, but it does not creep and removes without residue. I've used it in the head to secure paper towel holders to the counter top. Very durable. They sell it at Home Depot, I believe as "Reclosable Fastener," where they sell Velcro products.
