how to assemble slatted or venition door?

Hello all, does anyone know how I can put a door with angled blinds back together....I have one side together but I have been fighting the other side as the slatts or blinds or whatever you call them have been fighting back and they are winning....do they build them with jigs or are they built freehand..it is teak and very nice looking but a pain in the butt to re assemble...can anyone help?It is the door that seperates the forward cabin from the salon... thanks DVC

Assemble with the vertical rails laid horizontal on bench. Small spot of hot glue in rail pockets will steady the slats, and provide some movement while you place the top rail.
I managed a mill where we made thousands of hurricane shutters. Frustration levels were high
