How about this?

I'm in the throws of my first marine air-conditioning installation and had this thought. Why doesn't anyone route their condenser discharge water overboard through an existing through hull via a "T" fitting somewhere near the water line. No matter what installation I've looked at I'm turned off by the lack of elegance associated with dumping the water down the hull resulting stains and noise.

Re: How about this?

I'm sure you'll get lots of thoughts but one reason is to see the flow and know your pump is working well.

Re: How about this?

If you place it just above the water line in a sink drain, do you hear much gurgling?

Yep, gurgling....lots of it. Been Stupid, done that. Am smarter now. Overboard discharge just at, or above the waterline so you know your pump is working.

Re: How about this?

The OP said condenser discharge, not raw-water discharge. Rather than plumbing discharge thru an underwater thruhull, perhaps you can look into installing a venturi pump near the raw-water thruhull. The flow of raw-water thru the pump draws the condensate out with it.
