horizon express windlass slipping

my horizon express windlass is slipping! looking to try and fix it. does anyone know if the clutch can be adjusted? or do i just need to replace the clutch?

When mine slipped, I tore it down and had a machine shop re-knurl the concave cone so that the clutch would bite. I had to do this after all of the clutch adjustment had been "used up". This repair lasted for many years.

Does anyone have an old simpson lawrence windlass they want to sell? Does not need to work. I only need a second compound gear.

Doesn't it have a big nut on the right side that you can turn to tighten the clutch?
