Hood Stoway In-Boom System

I have a Hood Stoway In-Boom Furling Sysytem (circa 1985) that has an extruded aluminum tracking system that needs to be replaced. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may know of a source for this system. Thanks. angustaylor@shaw.ca

HiYo,
If it was possible for you to photo, or draw the extrusion you are seeking in cross section - it might help others give advice on who could possibly supply it.
I doubt if Hoods made it themselves, and literally thousands of companies have designed extrusion dies. So with a relatively accurate spec just maybe someone can provide a true source of the aluminium extrusion you need, close to your location.
Cheers
JOHN

I assume Hood is the sailmaker. They could probably point you in the right direction.

Here's the link Hood Sails - Designed to Perform, Built to Last

Hood Stoway In-Boom Furling

I've attached a photo of the damaged track and will attempt to send a schematic under separate cover in case it looks familiar to someone. Hood Sails have not been any help. The UK company that produced this system in the begining has been sold some years ago. I'm still trying to find the manufacturer. Thanks.
