I looked at them but finding them in 1/2"-13 x 4" 316 stainless proved difficult for me. Not saying they don't exist, but I couldn't find them. I don't recall what size the op's bolts were and there were more options in 304.

Nevertheless, my search is over. I solved my problem and should these ever need replacing in my lifetime a simple carriage bolt should be easy to find.

Re: Help find chainplate bolts

While we are looking for hardware, I need a couple of 316 stainless steel flat head machine screws, 5/16 18 x 3 in. Problem is the heads need to be larger in diameter (0.625 in) than standard (0.595). May be an older standard size. Any help out there?
