head operation

Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've recently purchased my first boat (2000 Maxum 2800 SCR). It has an electric head on board that has been functioning well until just this weekend. For lack of a better way to describe, what seems like a ball cock to me in the bowl sometimes stays in an open position after flushing. Is there maintenance or some type of adjustment to make sure it closes correctly each time?

I'd suggest you go to the manufacturer's website and look for "Support" of "FAQs". If it is a common problem they will tell you how to solve it.

If that produces no results, contact them directly by phone or email.

Best to get troubleshooting advice from the people who made the thing in the first place, if you can.
