Head Mirror Replacement

I would like to give the head in our O'Day 34 a facelift. Does anyone have any suggestions on changing/replacing the mirror? Where would I go to get a new one cut? Suggestions on material type as well as appropriate attachment methods would be much appreciated!

Re: Head Mirror Replacement

If you go with a glass mirror, any glass place can custom cut, polish the edges whatever you want.
Mirrors are often literally glued into place with a special adhesive meant just for this

I don't know about other than glass mirrors

Re: Head Mirror Replacement

I replaced mine 5 years ago in Malaysia very cheaply by taking the old ones in to a mirror shop.

They need to be done again.

In the photo below you can see the edges are peeling.
I though I was told its important to have air space behind them and my clips allow this. But it doesn't seem to have worked.
I would ask about a coating you or they could put over the silver and ensure the edge is sealed.

It was a great enhancement to get nice new mirrors.
