Has anyone used HTS-2000 brazing rod?

Our 13-year old AquaPro dinghy has numerous holes in the hull - too many beach landings onto coral, rock, etc. I've tried several different patching materials and adhesives but none seem to hold very long.

I recently came across a product called HTS-2000 low-temperature aluminum brazing rod and I've seen some impressive videos (isn't it amazing how well products work in the demo videos?) but I'm wondering if anyone on CF has any personal experience with it.

The Hypalon fabric of our dinghy is still in pretty good shape but it has lead a very hard life. We're visiting the States right now and this would be the time and place to buy a new dinghy, which I'm not totally opposed to doing. Still, if I were confident that I could successfully repair the one I've got, that would be my first preference.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have used it (same stuff I think Alumaloy) to fix a hatch frame, worked well but it takes some practice. You need naphtha gas touch, propane is not hot enough. If its just sheet metal provide a backer plate before you start heating. Stops the hot puddle from dripping through.
