Good source for Battery cable 4/0

I am in need of just a little bit of 4/0 tinned battery wire, like a couple of hundred feet. Anyone know of a good place to purchase this wire at a really good price? Any warnings of purchasing online? or any bad companies out there that anyone knows of?

This stuff ain't cheap so any price saving is really a big savings.

Thanks in advance.

Your requirement for tinned battery cable makes it a bit difficult to purchase from anyone other than a Marine wholesailer.

However, If you were happy to accept non-tinned, the best price for this sort of cable is normaly from a wholesailer dealing with electric welding equipment.

WOW!

You're not going to be happy; Cost and Weight are going to be pleasant.

I got several feet from Sailorman in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. I think I only paid $3.50 a foot.

Ward's Marine Electronics were also good to me (http://www.wardsmarine.com/).

Finally genuinedealz on ebay has been a great supplier for a lot of bulk cabling I have bought.

Good luck

I bought from these guys.

Try looking here. I've purchased from them before. I have no financial interest in their business. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-0-a...spagenameZWD1V

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I found what I beleive to be the best prices at

http://bestboatwire.com/catalog/default.php

For 4/0 tinned wire, they charge 3.82/ft.
