Good Source for 1" foam?

I'm looking for 1" foam. Can be whatever as long as it isn't friable. Making some doors.

Anyone have a good source?

I only need 5 sheets so nobody wants to sell it to me.

Also need 15 gallons of epoxy/hardener.

Anywhere. But need the foam in Florida.

The place in Burbank doesn't have the right foam.

Re: Good Source for 1" foam?

So what exactly is the right kind of foam you're looking for?

rigid, floppy, strength, insulating?

been to Menards / Lowes / Home Depot?

big sheets are crazy pricey to ship, best to buy local

Re: Good Source for 1" foam?

Ok. Sorry for the lack of clarity. Foam for boats. Airex, Divinycell, Corecell, Kledgecell, even balsa.

Making doors.

I only need 5 sheets so no one is willing to sell it to me.

Not worth their time or effort apparently.

Yes. Both the big sliding exterior doors (under a canopy where no rain touches them) as well as interior cabin doors.

What about a plastic like hdpe/hmhdpe? Should be easy to find in hardware stores, relatively cheap and just needs to be cut and shaped, hardware install. Comes in 4x8 sheets and varrying thicknesses.

Re: Good Source for 1" foam?

Thanks for the thought but

HDPE is 59lbs per cubic foot.

Corecell and Divinycell is 5lbs per cubic foot.

Not trying to ruin my boats performance.

Re: Good Source for 1" foam?

I really don't understand why you are having problems finding this material.

Core Materials for Composites, PVC, Balsa, Coremat, Divinycell

There... 5 minutes on the internet... three sources. What's the problem???
