Good books available

As a newbie that is about to complete the purchase of a 1989 Carver 4207 cockpit motor yacht, I 'm hoping someone can refer me to some of the better books available for maintaining any and all of the systems (plumbing, A/C, heating, electrical) as well as the diesel engines (Cat 3208's)

I also recommend the following book. I looked at several pages of samples, and am waiting for the book to arrive to see the whole thing. From the sample pages it looks awesome!
Maintenance Manual: 100 Fast and Easy Boat Improvements by Don Casey

All of the above books are part of the "International Marine Sailboat Library", and as such are 9" x 7.5". A little smaller than expected, but perfect for carrying on board.

I have a preview copy of the book in the previous post (Calder's Boatowner's Mechanical & Electrical Manual) and from what I have seen, I have to agree with Laika, good book.
