Glacier Bay reefer, can I keep the holding plates?

Hi All, we have a Glacier Bay fridge/freezer which is getting a little long in the tooth, it's starting to make some strange noises, occasionally cuts out, etc. I'm thinking it's time to replace the system.

Here's my question: Does anybody know if I can keep the holding plates and just replace the rest with another system? It would probably save a couple of boat units plus make the install much easier. I seem to remember that there is a manufacturer who is selling just such an animal, but I can't remember.

Any ideas?

Thanks, TJ
