Getting CADD drawing of vessel

Are all boat builders using Computer Aided Drafting? Can someone expect to review drawing in pdf and receive CADD upon signing sales agreement?

I don't think so. The dealer has not aces to that but if you have some doubt about some specific part he can ask the shipyard for those specific drawings (I doubt they will send them to the buyer) but the more usual regarding a situation like that is an invitation to the shipyard were all your questions will be answered by a technician. There he can review the designs with you.

Architects and engineers do not release the underlying CAD file or drafted document... but prints or PDFs.
