Galley Range Problem

I'm stumped! Anyone had this problem before and know the issue?

This morning I get up to put the kettle on, turn on the Xintex S-2A Propane control system to open the solenoid and allow propane to flow. Green light comes on - all good.

Turn to the Force 10 Galley stove and push and turn the knob to allow gas to flow and ignite (using a handheld lighter) - 1/4 second of flame then out she goes.

S-2A lights are now ALL off - indicating no power to the propane control.

I blew the fuse between battery and S-2A.

Every time I operate the range, the fuse blows. Just pushing on one of the control knobs on the range blows the fuse.

It's been working fine all year... Any ideas?

Ive had a couple of these S2A control panels go bad. By pass the panel and take power directly to the solenoid. If it opens and the range burns then the control panel is bad. In my experience, its the flexible sheet switches that go bad. This could be creating a short a blowing the fuse.

If the fuse still blows with the panel bypassed then the solenoid is probably the culprit.
