The bladder came in a nylon fabric outer. My outer was as pristine as the day I put it in the box.

Can't tell how or where the bladder failed as there was no non destructive way to examine the actual bladder.

While curious I couldn't see the point of investigating. It failed inside two years with no duress. $200 worth of education. I paid for it and thankfully didn't pay a higher price like being being out there without water.

Bladders no matter how initially attractive price wise and convenience wise now hold no attraction whatsoever.

Scot you referred to 'zein'. What's that and what have you used it for?
