Fish On Arch with Catamaran

Anyone have a Fish On arch on their catamaran? I am thinking about one for my Lagoon 380. I plan to mount solar and possibly even use the arch as a beefier davit.

Seems like a few mono hulls have provided positive feedback, but haven't seen any cats.

Fish On is an even better price at $1150 vs $2800 for Atlantic Towers.

Cheers,
Brett

There widest arch is only 8 feet wide.

Do you only have an 8 foot wide dinghy?

Put one on my cape dory 27d - very well made. If you need wider I am sure they can supply a wider center section. Call and ask. If not, you could add a couple of sections of tubing.

You make it sound as if davits (or an arch functioning as davits) need to be wider than the dinghy. And if so, then my question is why? As so long as the cantilever distance is sufficient, then there shouldn't be any issues.

Re: Fish On Arch with Catamaran

We had an Atlantic arch on our leopard 40 but had to keep the Davits because the arch would move side to side while underway. We had a narrower Atlantic Arch on our previous monohull and experienced the same movement but we were able to tame it somewhat by having brackets made to tie in the vertical legs of the arch to the stern rails. On the catamaran we replaced the Atlantic arch with a stainless one and removed the OEM davits. Life is good now. Click image for larger version
