Fiberglass Deck Cleaning and repair

We've been remiss in maintaing the deck of our 40' sailboat, having become CLODS and concentrating on remodeling a house for the last year. The decks are heavily oxidized and have some minor cracks/chips (cosmetic only). We are talking with some folks about doing the work for us and wanted to see if anyone can share a ball park cost for such a job.

Are you just buffing and repairing minor gelcoat issues, or refinishing?

repairing minor issues, the cracks and chips are cosmetic. The real issue is dealing with the oxidized deck. In the past we've used 3M products to compound and wax. We are at the point where we need a little more and thought we'd get some professional assistance, but the price seems a bit much.
