Exhaust Flange

Hello CF,

I am considering replacing the fiberglass through hull exhaust tube sticking out the transom with either a bronze or stainless flange.

Has anyone done this and have recommendations?

who fabricated the hardware? I'm having trouble finding them.

I'm in the middle of prepping for paint and this is a heavily cracked area with a ton of filler from the factory that failed. I fear my repair will look messy and I love the look of boats with a fitting for the exhaust.

Thanks!

Personally I would do anything to avoid metal.

I agree on the avoiding metal if possible, but understand the desire. The go-to supplier for what you asked for is Buck-Algonquin:
