Poly only sticks well to itself if new layers are added before the previous layer has cured. Then you have a chemical bond. Like in a continuous manufacturing process. Otherwise you need a good sanding job between layers and that's still not as effective as using epoxy.
With West System using the pumps, you get exact repeatable mix. You can mix by volume or weight, too. And for big jobs there is a double gear pump that dispenses large quantities of resin and hardener.

Have used West, MAS and US Composites which is very cost effective. US slow and MAS are blush free ( no waxy surface ). US slow said needs very warm to cure but I have used it in the 60,s just that's a few days to fully cure. Us some cotton flox mixed in makes strong joints use peelply, it makes smooth work. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info. I believe i will be toing with the us composite. West system is very pricey
