Enkes Marine Part in Holland

Hello Community!

I need some help. I ordered some parts to an Enkes winch. I paid for it by wiring the money. The person Ronald Pronk at Enkes Marine Parts in Holland claims that he sent me the package. So I asked for the tracking number, but he never sent it to me. He lies about sending it and giving me the tracking number the next day...etc...

Does anybody know this person?

Cheers,
viktor

Good day, Viktor,

Welcome aboard CF. Perhaps some of the other European members will have had dealings with Enkes, and have useful input for you. Good luck with it.

Good on ya, Enkes. Welcome aboard CF. People will notice when you guys are seen to be doing the right thing, and your overall reputation most likely will improve. Thank you for helping.

Thank you, Ronald. I have no idea why it took you so long, but hopefully it will end soon.

Not sure if this is a common thing, but I've noticed that in general, Dutch businesses are much better at responding over telephone than email. It's unfortunate, but if you really want a response, call them.

You are for 100% aware that Enges shipped those parts already 3 times to Hongary, they have signed prove of acceptance. This is a over 50 years old, highly respected, dutch manufacturer of winches. Your way, as a new member, of naming and shaming is way of limit. This is the reason that a moderator edited your Title and Post. I do know that they also answered your emails, i think you owe them exuses.....

Re: Enkes Marine Part in Holland

Tricolor! Well, Ronald called me today. It seems that I can send a courier to pick the goods up next week.
We agreed in August 2016, that they will send the goods by DHL. When I asked for the tracking number, for some reason - guess what it could be - there was none. Lately, I received no replies to my emails and my phone calls were not answered either. So the package never had been sent...no apologies from my side...

But thanks to this platform it seems that I will get the product I paid for. So I close this issue.

Cheers!

I have been the owner of a manufacturing plant in Łódź - Poland and Lvov - Ukraine. Don't teach me about the wonders of East Europe, the main reason we closed down both factories.

Please read again. It has nothing to do with East Europe, your statement ist inappropriate and off topic!

Regarding the initial problem. It happened two times for me (in the Netherlands) that something should have been delivered on a certain date. The problem was, that the original provider did not deliver. But until I 'really asked' what happened, I was told, yes yes it comes the next few days, but nothing did arrive. I don't know, maybe it was b/c they wanted to be friendly. (But at least they gave me a 'workaround part' until the real stuff arrived, thus no complaints)
