pirate Endeavour 37 ,Owners.

I was wondering if any of the endeavor 37 owners could help me. I am lookin for pics of the rudder assembly behind the engine compartment. When I bought this boat it was in the middle of being fixed up but the gentleman had died .The rudder and shaft had been removed and I don't understand if there's a stuffing box or some other supports in there.pictures would be great.Thanks.......Aaron

Give me a few days to go to the boat and I will send some pics if no one beats me to it.

Re: Endeavour 37 ,Owners.

Maybe this will help. In the one you can see the stuffing box hose and stuffing box well. My system has the steering quadrant and the auto helm quadrant above that. My autohelm bolts to the wood 4x4 you see in the back ground. You can just see the top bearing as well. What I didn't think to figure out is what keeps it from falling off. I think there is a pin through the shaft at the top in the access to emergency steering.

Hope this helps you get it back together
