Cleaning is one thing; I'm afraid you need to irradiate yours

The croc got angry when some cruiser peed on him. I convinced him to stay with stories about fast bottom cleaners coming this way

Then there were suddenly two crocs...

Fine...

Go ahead all of you pee-in-the-sink believers... you might as well crap in the sink too and wash it down with some of that sterile urine disinfectant. But don't be wondering where all your friends went or why nobody has taken you up on that dinner invite.

...and that's why...it is NOT a good idea to charter your boat; it might get "sterilized" with someone's "used rum punch" ... Mauritz

No drama, I forgot to add the happyface to indicate sarcasm. :-)

This may be my favoriteCF thread ever. Sooooooo much happened today while I slept...I'll be quoting stuff half the night!

But to be clear...whoever said something about "just ask any nurse" and then "right girls?" Has made a lifetime enemy of this nurse who's most assuredly NOT a girl!

So, as a nurse, can you advise me to drink my own urine instead of tap water?

Mahatma Gandhi boasted about drinking his urine. Ewl Gibbons boasted about eating nuts. Where are they now? Laugh and the world laughs with you...Pee, and your boat is sterilized forever! Mauritz

If you have teak decks you could always dump it on your decks.

Nevermind....that idea stinks.

Actually, that makes sense. Who wants to leave a warm cabin to hike up a icy/snowy dock to dump a pee jug? :-)

No of course not. And no one here HAS advised that! Just as no one has advocated pooping in the marina! But people will read what they will read.

HOWEVER...if you're really asking if it will hurt you...no, drinking some pee will not hurt you. Drinking a lot will...I mean, let's be honest, it is WASTE! The entire reason you pee is to remove waste products from your blood. But it is sterile in a healthy human...emphasis on healthy! If you have a UI it's not...but even then, drinking your own will just relocate those pathogens inside your own body.

But...I am actually NOT on the side of dumping it into the marina. Forget all the science, it's YUCKY! I personally think FSTBTTMS is one of the rudest posters on CF. He can't AGREE with a post without being condescending! But still, he's right...he doesn't want to swim in your piss. I’m also not taking a bath in your bath water, nor am I emptying your bedpan without gloves.

Now can we get back to the immature poop jokes??!!!

Folks, urine is sterile, same are tear drops, safer to drink then any tap water. Any nurse can confirm that. Girls, please do!
Safer to drink than any tap water...
