Dumb question? What do you call the vinyl line storage bag?

Fifteen buxworth of fabric from your local fabric store and an hour spent on the old domestic Bernina, and Bob's yer uncle.

For tidies below decks you don't need fancy "open weave". Basically any fabric will do, and for sheet-bags on deck, finish the sewing, then punch a grommet into each corner of the bottom of the bag. That'll drain liquid water. H²O that still trapped in the line needs to be cleared by hanging the line to dry in the wind just like we used to do with cotton sails - THEN the line can go in the bag.
