Does Anyone Recognize this Logo?

It is from the knob on a hatch. I am trying to locate parts but can't figure out who the manufacturer was. The boat was constructed in England. I have seen hatches of the same make on a Baltic, if that is of any help. Thanks!

What McGinnis says. Looks like an *old* Goļot part.

Note: Goļot is part of the Navimo group, which is presently in judicial recovery. Maybe it's worth obtaining the parts quickly, before the stocks disappear.

Re: Does Anyone Recognize this Logo?

I asked this same question just a month ago here.

I recently sent mine off to Select Plastics to have a new dark grey lens and new gaskets installed. They carry parts too.

Re: Does Anyone Recognize this Logo?

definitely Goiot ... got them all over my new boat, those fittings are circa 1987 (on my yacht) ... looks like a turning knob like on my hatches. They have a habit of seizing up (I just chased all mine through a tap and die ... now they work tre smooth).

They are a standard metric thread if you need to replace them (with some alternative such as a wing nut or something similar).

If you get in touch with goiot let me know how you go ... I need some other old parts from them and I am not looking forward to the long discussion in french.

Re: Does Anyone Recognize this Logo?

definitely Goiot ...

My boat is french circa 1980 and we have them as well on all hatches

I also would like to know your results with contacting Goiot as I have a fabulous old manual Goiot windlass that could use a few parts....

Goļot web site is here: http://www.goiot.com/inc/?c=3&p=5&lang=fr&lang=uk

The technical support page is here: http://www.goiot.com/inc/?c=8&titre=Technical%20support

There are some documents with drawings of internal parts of windlasses and part numbers. The text is in French but the drawings are clear. I can help you with the translation, if necessary.

Hydra, thanks for taking the time to help!

I found those pages before, I was hoping that there was some other source as implied earlier in the thread for older parts. My windlass is excellent but older than those listed in the links you posted.

Re: Does Anyone Recognize this Logo?

You can get the knobs off old Raymarine (autohelm) Radars/Echo sounders etc, they work very nicely.
