Hi Peteyed,

The place you are looking for is at Kurnell in Sydney, on Cook Rd.
Rent is cheap, has power and water, plus Russel the owner is great for advice, or can be contracted to do some work for you.
I am currently there myself using the facilities.

Regards,
Kosta.

What yous are thinking of is the Shell Point Slipway & Boatyard.

There are a few slipways that allow DIY on Sydney Harbour. Noakes, River Quays and Balmain Marine Centre come to mind, though I'd recon there could be many more.

Mate I know it is not Shell Point, as this is near to Taren Point. This is not a slipway though as per the previous reply, you will need to have the boat towed there. This makes sense only if you are looking to do lengthy repairs.

Marks Point Marina in Lake Macquarie has a travel lift and hardstand area where you can do your own work.

The marinas in Central Coast all allow you to do work yourself, but that would be on the slipway which is an expensive daily cost.
