work with a flat stern and a transom hung rudder
with no stern ladder? We get into and out of our dinghy
on the side of the sailboat but would like davits
so we don't have to tow the dinghy
all the time or wrestle it onto the cabin
top . I can't seem to grasp how with davits and no stern ladder you hook the dinghy to the davits or get it unhooked. We have quite a bit of freeboard on the boat and the trailing edge of the rudder
is about 16 inches behind the stern. is Now I've done it, opened my mouth and removed all doubts of my ignorance. I'm sure there is some simple way to do it but can't seem to figure it out.
