Deep Freeze condensation/vapor

I have been battling this problem for years without a result.
We have a large deep freeze located under a bunk with the lid in the top ie under a squab.
I have replaced the lid seals, had covers made to sit between the squad and lid and similar efforts and still we have a very wet squad underside after about an hours running. Any advise or suggestions greatly appreciated

Re: Deep Freeze condensation/vapor

The insulation in the lid is no good. Probably wet. Make a new lid with decent insulation.

Re: Deep Freeze condensation/vapor

hmm, the lid is still the issue. The cold lid meets the warm air/squab and creates condensation. The lid is not sufficiently insulated, new, old, or indifferent. Are you sure you used a proper closed cell polyurethane foam at least 75mm thick? No air gaps. Anywhere.
Try this, at night, put a lamp in the cabinet, try to make the cabin as dark as possible. If you can see any light at all around the lid seals, they aren't sealing properly....
Good luck!
