Deck Paint - US or Carribean?

Our 46 ft boat is in need of deck & cabin top paint. We're looking for the best place to get good work done, but as economically as possible. Quotes we've gotten in the US range from 10-15K. We're willing to do much of the work ourselves (sanding & prep) but would like someone more experienced to do the actual painting.

While not pretty now, it's serviceable. We will be leaving the states in October for the islands so the work could be done here or elsewhere.

Has anyone gotten this type of work done in the Caribbean or Central America? If so, where would you recommend?
