Deck Fitting
I am adding a aluminum rack on top of my cabin. I am using aluminum,magnesium fittings and will through bolt this. Question- do people use Stanless Steel bolts for this? I have heard they interact with the aluminum? Do people coat the stanless in any way to stop this? Not worry about this? thank you nigel longland

Yes we use stainless. Be sure it is 316 or better and coat all mating surfaces with "never seez"or the like.

does that help stop galvanic interaction between the aluminum rack and the stanless bolts? thanks nigel

The best coating I have found is Tefgel.

Yes. These coatings retard the reaction thru isolation.
