Customs rules, goods in transit

Hi all. Here s an interesting one. I want to buy some instruments from England (duty rate 20%) to be brought to Canada (duty 19.5% + fees) by a family member. I will then take these to the boat in Aruba (duty 0%) and fit them to a Canadian boat which is then coming back to Canada as import of personal possessions by a new immigrant (duty exempt).
Posting them to a UK address meant they have to charge duty
Posting from them from England to Canada automatically incurs import duties and is expensive.
Posting direct to Aruba is also expensive and means they will be laying around the marina office for some time.

Anyone got any ideas for a SIMPLE way of doing this so I don't pay multiple duties
