Custom Portlights

Can anyone recommend a source that will custom fabricate and install portlights to replace hinged plexiglass portlights and deadlights covered by an externally mounted piece of plexiglass?

This is how she came from the yard and I have had no luck sourcing OEM hinges, gaskets, latches.

Plus, with the conversion we would almost double the cabin ventilation by letting everything open.

Re: Custom Portlights

Hood Yacht Systems’ (Pompanette) say that their traditional ports and hatches are hand-fabricated, so they can make custom sizes, as long as the corner bending radius is unchanged from their dies.

Re: Custom Portlights

You could check out New Found Metals in Port Townsend, WA:

I have never done business with them, but talked to the owner at a boat show and had a look at their stainless steel ports, which are beautifully made and very sturdy. If your ports are a standard size for which NFM has exact replacements, the cost is not too bad. If you need custom fabricated ports, of course the prices go up.
