Custom bimini and frame

Hey folks,

I'd like to have a bimini and hoop frame built for my cockpit. The size I'd need (4' fore and aft, 8' wide) doesn't seem to be available as a stock model from any of the major manufacturers. Thats too bad because those ones seem pretty inexpensive. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Im surprised to hear that. But canvas is not a good place to save dough. Good stuff cost no more than crap stuff.

I would charge around $1200 for what your describing. This would be built with 1" stainless .065 tubing, sunbrella plus canvas and solarfix ptfe thread. Prices down here in Florida are typically lower than points north. This may give you a starting point anyway.

I just had some work done and bought my own thread, the $100 a spool stuff mentioned above. Lots of thread left over of course but did it to avoid re-stitching expense in 5 years or so. Seemed like a reasonable gamble.
