Cruisair Heating Issue

I have a cruisair unit which serves the master stateroom and head. It is a smaller unit than the one which serves the rest of the boat. When I put it on heat, it takes 15 minutes before warm air begins to come from the unit. Does anyone know why it takes so long or how to correct the problem?

where are you? is the water cold?
smaller units will generally take longer to begin heating in cooler water.

It's normal; my 16 or 18 kBTU units take about 10 minutes.

cheers,
Nick.
