Crack in perspex window

I just discovered a small crack in the corner of my Perspex inward opening window above the galley on my hunter 44 DS. Should I drill a small hole at the end of the crack and fill with Epoxy to stop the crack spreading. Does anyone know if this will work?

Had the same issue on a large panel cracking from the edge. Drilled a small hole and crack has not progressed. Did not fill the hole with epoxy, as it is tiny I just let it be as it is.
