Cost of Laying Teak

Hi all,

I'm close to finalizing purchase of a fiberglass trawler liveaboard aka 5-year Project. One of my first projects will be to lay some teak decking.

Question is about price...and I realize this is simplified, but I'm trying to get some general range to help me factor in overall costs. Suppose I want to lay just 4 square meters of moderately thick teak decking (stern deck), versus ~20 (stern + amidships decks). Hiring a carpenter to do a good but not superyacht finish, what should I expect to pay for wood and labor? I'm in Australia, but any USD approximations would be as helpful.

In Croatia I paid 20.000 euro for 23m2 of reather complicated teak deck work.
The thickness of premium grade golden Burma teak was 14mm and the wood was glued too the preexisting plywood. The caulking is Sikaflex system...
