This is a used boat of course and the sales rep. was the construction supervisor for Cabo Rico. So, I was looking for unbiased info. regarding this material ... people who have had experience with it. And no you're not an ass.

I remember the introduction of this material for this purpose (thru hull fittings) but it was more about weight savings but maybe expense too ... not sure.

Oh, well
