Any pex tubing installed in a "closed" loop heating system should have a oxygen barrier. If not you will destroy the ferrous iron components. Goggle Heatway, a product installed back in the 80's that had no oxygen barrier if you have any doubts.

I'm preparing to install a Wabsto hydronic system in our 47' Moody. I bought hose but now am contemplating PEX. I had one installer tell me over time the hose and clamps would be areas of concern. Seems to me from what I've read there really is no advantage one over the other. I purchased everything from Sure Marine so the quality is not an issue. I just want to use the best materials for good performance. Any comments would be appreciated.
