Running gear

I am ready to feel the engines turn the props and move her ahead. The bonding and zincs are complete.

Loose Ends

Forest worked on the last piece of solid surface countertop today, and the #2 wires are connected to the lighting rods and are ready to install this coming week.

Re: Construction Thread for Custom 45' Cruising Powercat

My wife and I marveled over this boat at the MessAbout provided by B&B Yachts, this is a hyper-quality boat. Simply beautiful!

Thank you very much. I had a charter that Saturday and Sunday and was only able to come over Saturday evening.

We are getting close. The underwater metal has had 2 coats of primer and got the first coat of bottom paint today. Two more days and 2 more coats and she will be ready to launch.

The boot top was finished and unmasked today.

Here are a few pictures.

If we can get both the trailer and the tide at the same time, she will float this week.

Starting batteries

I installed the starting batteries today, and bumped both engines and the genset over.

Props coated and hull jacked up to paint under blocking

Pettit (Kopcoat) 1792 Zinc Coat Barnacle Barrier has been applied to the props, and she is being jacked up to coat the areas she has been sitting on the blocking.

At the ramp

Paul made the last hard turn and got her lined up on the ramp. Now we wait for a northeaster and the tide it will bring.

We should have that by Monday.
